Offensive Skills Academy
Where Offensive Skills Are Developed
Service Description
The Yah Nation Offensive Skills Academy is a recurring 4-week youth football enrichment program designed specifically for Running Backs (RB), Wide Receivers (WR), Tight Ends (TE), Slot Receivers, and Wing Backs preparing to compete in tackle football. Today's youth football has evolved. Running backs are expected to catch passes, while wide receivers, slot receivers, and wing backs are often asked to carry the football on jet sweeps, reverses, screens, and from the backfield. Offensive athletes must be versatile and prepared to become an asset to any offensive scheme. Our academy develops complete offensive athletes by combining football IQ, movement development, and position-specific instruction in a competitive learning environment. Each recurring 4-week development block builds upon previous instruction while introducing new concepts, techniques, and game situations. Athlete development is an ongoing process that requires commitment, consistency, and repetition. Our goal isn't to simply complete four sessions—it's to continually develop more complete football players over time. Athletes will continue developing: • Football IQ • Ball Security • Vision & Decision Making • Route Running • Catching & Ball Tracking • Open Field Running • Blocking Fundamentals • Change of Direction • Position-Specific Technique • Live Competitive Situations Helmet and shoulder pads are required for every session. However, wearing equipment does not mean athletes will participate in full-contact drills every training session. Athletes first learn to move, react, track the football, execute proper techniques, and become comfortable performing football fundamentals while wearing their equipment. Contact is introduced progressively as fundamentals improve. This academy is designed specifically for youth tackle football athletes. If your athlete currently plays flag football only, please enroll in our Flag Skills Academy. Where Athletes Are Developed™
